Fabio Capello's son and lawyer has refuted suggestions that the Italian could be set to take over at Paris Saint-Germain.
Rumours had indicated that Capello, who is manager of Russia, was on the brink of agreeing a one-year deal with the Ligue 1 champions.
The reports surfaced after the former England boss was seen meeting with the club's sporting director Leonardo in Paris.
PSG have been linked with a wide range of different candidates as speculation around Carlo Ancelotti's prospective switch to Real Madrid continues to mount.
However, Pierfilippo Capello, who serves as his father's attorney, was quick to stress that the meeting had nothing to do with the potentially vacant position at the Parc des Princes.
"It was a meeting planned a long time ago," he told L'Equipe.
"He has known Leonardo for 15 years, they are just friends, and talked about players and other things."
