Cardiff City have completed their first signing of the off-season as they announced the capture of Danish striker Andreas Cornelius.
Cornelius, 20, will sign terms with the newly-promoted Welsh club for an undisclosed fee, pending the completion of his medical.
Cornelius joins Cardiff from Danish side FC Copenhagen, where he won the player-of-the-year award last term.
He scored 18 goals in 32 league matches last season, while he also represented his club in both the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League.
Cornelius' prolific club form has seen him win nine caps for Denmark's senior team and he has bagged five goals for his country already, including a hat-trick in a 4-0 friendly win against Canada in January.
The left-footed forward is likely to be the first of many arrivals at Cardiff over the course of the next two months as manager Malky Mackay prepares for life in the Premier League.
Cardiff – who have never played in the Premier League - won the Championship last season by eight points.
