SOCCEROO Nick Carle looks set to reject a move to Chinese Super League club Shaanxi Chanba but remains on the lookout for a new club.
The 28-year-old Australian midfielder is currently struggling to get a game with English Championship side Crystal Palace and had flown out to China last week to discuss a move to Shaanxi.
But Palace boss Neil Warnock revealed the deal has hit a stumbling block.
He told South London Press: "At the moment there are some things in the contract which he and his agent didn't agree with so it was a non-starter.
"I think there will be a lot of interest in taking Nick on loan but we're just trying to get a permanent deal done."
Carle actually hasn't played for Palace since December 5 and hasn't started a game for the Eagles since October.
The 2006/2007 Johnny Warren Medalist desperately needs game-time to impress Socceroos boss Pim Verbeek ahead of the 2010 World Cup.
