Soccero Nick Carle's Crystal Palace manager Neil Warnock is hoping he and his players will be paid their December wages tomorrow by the cash-strapped Coca-Cola Championship club.
December was the second successive month the Palace playing staff have had an issue with wages, after they received their November payments late.
However, Warnock has spoken with chairman Simon Jordan and revealed the December salaries that were due last week should be paid into accounts on Thursday.
Warnock told the Croydon Advertiser: "I had a brief chat with Simon and he is confident that he should have the money in place tomorrow.
"I know he's doing all he can and I'm not going to push him on it, but he was pretty confident that it should all be sorted out."
Warnock also confirmed representatives from the Professional Footballers' Association will visit the club on Friday to meet with the players and staff to discuss the ongoing financial problems at Selhurst Park.
Warnock added: "They're not coming down to give the club the once-over or anything like that. It's a positive thing and hopefully we can iron out a few of the issues."
