Jamie Carragher believes Liverpool have to sort out their worrying home form if they are to get their season firing again.
Carragher is concerned that Liverpool fans have only seen their side win twice at Anfield this season in seven matches.
The Champions League qualifier against Toulouse and the Premier League rout of Derby are the only matches to have produced Liverpool victories.
Carragher said: "It is strange that we have dropped so many points at Anfield this season, normally we are so strong but we are more than disappointed that four teams have drawn here this season.
"It seems that as long as I have been at the club, each season we try to improve one area of the team, but we find problems elsewhere.
"Last season we had a poor away record and we were excellent at home. Now we are much better away but cannot seem to have control on our own pitch."
Anfield has been a fortress for Liverpool over several decades, but not this term.
Carragher added: "We are now among the best in the league away from home, but now we are bothered about how we play at home. It is very frustrating.
"At the beginning of the season we hoped to maintain that home strength and start picking up more away points. But things seem to have turned around completely.
"We have had too many draws. We have just held Arsenal, which we feel is a good result but we now must improve our home form.
"Spurs and Birmingham have both drawn here, as well as Chelsea. But our away form is very good and just about making up for the things that have gone wrong this season at home."
