MICHAEL Carrick and Danny Welbeck have been withdrawn from the England squad for the friendlies against Chile and Germany.
Carrick has been suffering with an Achilles injury while his Manchester United team-mate Welbeck has been ruled out with a knee problem.
No replacements have been called up for the pair.
