Catley played a full game in defence as goals from De Vanna and Kerr helped the Matildas to a 2-1 win over Brazil in Penrith on Saturday.

The victory comes after Australia ran riot at the Tournament of Nations, with Kerr scoring four goals, while De Vanna and Foord both hit the back of the net twice as the Matildas lifted the trophy in August.

“Absolutely, especially those three combined,” Catley said when asked if she’d fear coming up against the trio.

“At different stages in my career I’ve played against them all individually. They’re obviously incredible individually.

“Together they’re definitely a force to be reckoned with.

“It was fun watching them on Saturday and being able to give the ball straight to them and having them run and combine with each other, it’s awesome to watch.”

The two sides will meet again in Newcastle on Tuesday night.

“It’s going to be another massive game,” the Melbourne City defender said.

“Brazil showed their class and a couple of them were pretty fresh off the plane, so they’ve had another couple of days to settle in.

“They’ll be back with another game plan and attacking force. I hear we’re going to have another big crowd, so we can’t wait.”
