Sydney FC midfielder Karol Kisel is a veteran of the Prague derbies having played for Sparta against Slavia Prague during his four year spell at the club.

How that derby compares remains to be seen but with both sides in good form and occupying first and second spots on the Hyundai A-League ladder, there are predictions of a bumper crowd of 30,000 plus for a classic encounter at Etihad tomorrow night.

And for Sydney FC, playing in front of their biggest crowd of the season will not be intimidating. In fact; Kisel says, it'll bring out the best in him and the sky blues.

"It's good there'll be an intimidating feeling. I like it. That makes a really good atmosphere," he told au.fourfourtwo.com at Sydney airport today.

"I think it's alright when the biggest cities have these big rivalries. They are second [on the ladder] we are first. That's perfect.

"We want to have it like that at the end of the season."

Kisel knows emotions can get the better of players in these types of games. With Carlos Hernandez an unexpected bonus for Victory after being dropped by Costa Rica, free kicks on the edge of the box clearly will be a danger for the visitors.

The Slovak has urged his teammates to remain cool and disciplined - particularly on the edge of the box.

"We must have an open mind, that's always important," he said. "When everybody has emotions sometimes it's important to be like the man with open mind at the crucial moment."

He added: "We have to all the time think about what's going on and switch on. To be a step ahead.

"But sure it's not only him [Hernandez]. Maybe the most important for them is Muscat and Archie Thompson is great also. So we have to be careful. It's not only Hernandez."
