Napoli star Edinson Cavani is dreaming of leapfrogging Diego Maradona as the club's all-time top goalscorer.
The legendary Argentine netted an impressive 115 goals for Napoli during his seven-year spell at the club, and Cavani is hopeful of reaching the 52-year-old's tally in the not too distant future.
The former Palermo star netted four times in Napoli's 4-2 Europa League win over Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk on Thursday to take his tally to 79.
Cavani, who has netted 13 goals in as many appearances for Napoli this term, is desperate to keep on scoring for the Serie A side.
"Maradona's goalscoring record? I am slowly closing the gap. I can reach his tally," the Uruguay international told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"It is always a good feeling to score, especially when you're a striker. Napoli are not Cavani-dependant, though. I scored four goals, but my team-mates gave me some great assists."
