Petr Cech insists Chelsea can compete on all four fronts this season after their commanding 4-0 Carling Cup victory away at Portsmouth.
Chelsea manager Luiz Felipe Scolari has made a point in the last fortnight of stating that he is not prioritising the Champions League over any other competition this season.
The Brazilian named a strong side for the Fratton Park tie - including Didier Drogba, Frank Lampard and John Terry - and Chelsea strolled to victory.
Cech was a virtual armchair spectator and kept the 94th clean sheet of his Chelsea career to move second equal with Carlo Cudicini behind club record-holder Peter Bonetti.
And afterwards Cech stressed that Chelsea will not run out of steam in their trophy quest.
"If you look at the players we have in our squad, whatever line-up we put on the pitch will be strong," he said.
"We are trying to win every competition, so it is not a surprise that the manager decides to put out a strong team in all games.
"We will see what happens in the later stages of the cups but at the moment I am playing all the games. I feel physically very good and I am not suffering from any fatigue.
"This group of players looks really impressive. We have a lot of quality here.
"In this game, even a player like Wayne Bridge who hadn't played for quite a while was able to play very well."
Scolari, who had been upset with Chelsea after the Champions League win over Bordeaux, was pleased with their more patient approach at Fratton Park.
Cech continued: "You can see a little bit this season that we try to play a little more with the ball. We have the players to play this style and I think, as a manager, you want to adapt to what you have in your squad.
"We have a good squad to pass the ball but we haven't only played that sort of game.
"Against Wigan we fought really hard to get three points with players a lot of people would say are only players to play nice football.
"We showed that we are strong enough even in battles and this is important."
While Scolari has the luxury of shuffling his pack for Saturday's clash with Stoke, Portsmouth manager Harry Redknapp is down to the bare bones.
His first-choice midfield of Lassana Diarra, Sean Davis and Papa Bouba Diop are all out injured and Portsmouth lacked any attacking nous against Chelsea.
But the immediate problem is to stem the flow of goals having conceded 10 in two matches.
Redknapp admitted goalkeeper David James is struggling for confidence but he hopes the return of Sol Campbell for Saturday's game against Tottenham will add some steel at the back.
Portsmouth's success last season was built on a rock-solid defence and Redknapp was not concerned until Manchester City ran in six at the weekend.
Pompey face three games in nine days, starting on Saturday against Tottenham and including the second leg of their UEFA Cup tie away against Vitoria Guimaraes.
Striker Kanu is confident Redknapp will turn things around.
"We have to stop conceding. We have to start keeping clean sheets. It's a worry for all the players and the gaffer but he knows what to do," said the Nigerian.
"We are not happy. The only thing we have to think of is finding a solution."
