SCOTTISH giants Celtic are understood to be on the verge of announcing an Australian tour in the upcoming off-season with a date with Perth Glory one of the likely matches.
On Saturday, the Adelaide Advertiser revealed it expects Celtic to confirm two matches against A-League opposition as part of a tour in Australia during July.
One of those matches is expected to be at Perth's nib Stadium against Glory on July 2 although nothing has been confirmed yet.
Glory have been gauging public interest in the matches by floating the idea on Facebook and Twitter over the past few days.
Celtic toured Australia only two years ago when they faced Brisbane Roar, winning the clash at Suncorp Stadium 3-0.
Glory are currently coached by Glasgow-born former Rangers star Ian Ferguson.
