SOCCEROO Mile Sterjovski could be set to swap his wide boy role for another stint in the heart of the Derby County engine room.
The Australian partnered veteran campaigner Robbie Savage in the weekend's 2-1 win over Bristol City and looks likely to continue in the unfamiliar role when the Rams face Southampton later today.
Injuries have hit Derby hard in recent weeks but Saturday's match winner Rob Hulse has praised the players who have stepped in, with particular mention of Sterjovski.
Hulse told the Derby Telegraph: "Lads have come in and been terrific. Mile Sterjovski has come in and played in a position he's never played before - and he did great."
