Kenyon said Chelsea will not make any last-minute signings before the transfer window closes tomorrow night.

The London club have been linked with Ronaldinho but Kenyon dismissed that report - as well as claims of a swap deal involving Shaun Wright-Phillips and Tottenham's Jermaine Defoe, and that Jose Mourinho wanted to sign Porto winger Ricardo Quaresma.

Kenyon, in Monaco ahead of the Champions League draw, said: "We are 24 hours away and it's fair to say that our plans are complete."

Asked if Laporta might be keen to avoid him, he replied: "Not at all - in fact I've just had a coffee with him!"

It is thought Ronaldinho's brother and agent Roberto de Assis Moreira has been ramping up talk of a move to Chelsea to try to raise the stakes in talks over a new contract with Barcelona.

Ronaldinho is reported to have a buy-out clause in his current contract - but interested parties would have to stump up £83million.

Kenyon went on to rule out a January move for the Brazilian, insisting he was happy with the quality of signings made over the summer.

"There's been no discussion (about Ronaldinho)," he said.

"Yes, there's been a lot of speculation, as there continually is around Chelsea.

"Players of that calibre don't move in January. One, they're cup-tied (for the Champions League) and two, they are not the transfers you do in January.

"We had a set of targets and we've concluded them, to be fair. What we've brought in is what we've targeted."

But the Chelsea chief executive, who also denied claims of a swap deal involving Shaun Wright-Phillips and Tottenham's Jermain Defoe, and that Jose Mourinho wanted to sign Porto winger Ricardo Quaresma, did confirm that there may be exits from the club.

Right-back Glen Johnson was confirmed as a possible departure, while the versatile Lassana Diarra could also be on his way.

He said: "Our plans are complete but there may be a couple of players leaving. That will become evident within the next 24 hours. Glen may be one of those who is looking to move on."
