CHELSEA reached their third FA Cup semi-final in the past four seasons as goals from Didier Drogba and Alex secured a 2-0 win against Coventry at the Ricoh Arena.
Drogba maintained his renaissance since the appointment of Guus Hiddink by netting his sixth goal of the campaign after 15 minutes.
Then Alex put the game out of second-division Coventry's reach 17 minutes from time after converting a cross from substitute Ricardo Quaresma.

Manchester United's march towards a quintuple continued apace at Craven Cottage as Carlos Tevez helped sweep aside Fulham in a 4-0 victory to earn a place in the FA Cup semi-finals.
Tevez scored twice before half-time and his double helped explain why Sir Alex Ferguson's men might lift five trophies this season - nine of his 12 goals this season have come in cups.
Wayne Rooney added another just after the break to end any hopes Fulham had of a comeback in a breathless quarter-final, then Ji-sung Park added a fourth before full-time.
