Among Chelsea's superstar squad, fresh off winning the 2018 F.A Cup, the likes of Alvaro Morata, David Luiz, Cesc Fabregas, Pedro and Ross Barkley all missed out on World Cup selection.

This bodes well for Aussie fans planning on attending the Chelsea vs Perth Glory friendly match on July 23, with the Blues eager to bring a squad brimming with talent to strut their stuff against Glory.

It will also provide the first significant test for Tony Popovic out west, as the former Asian Champions League winning coach aims to kick-off his Perth tenure with a giant-killing.

The organisers have maintained that the match is set to attract a crowd of over 60,000 people at Perth's new Optus Stadium. Tickets start at $49 and are available here.
