Chelsea have ramped up efforts to claim compensation from former striker, Adrian Mutu.
The Romania international was fired by the Premier League outfit in 2004 after testing positive for cocaine, with Chelsea lodging legal proceedings in the same year to reclaim money spent on his signing.
Mutu was ordered to pay £14.5 million in compensation to the Stamford Bridge outfit by Swiss courts, but the club have yet to receive any of the funds.
Having served a seven-month ban following the sacking, Mutu joined Serie A giants Juventus via fellow Italian outfit Livorno, who acted as an intermediary in the deal.
Chelsea have now taken both Juventus and Livorno to a FIFA dispute panel, arguing both clubs are liable for payment having not spent anything to sign Mutu.
Mutu had cost Chelsea £15.8 million to transfer from Parma, while Juventus went on to sell him to Serie A rivals Fiorentina for £6 million.
A Chelsea spokesman told The Press Association: "We are exercising our legal remedies to recover the amounts owed to us and we will continue to do so."
Mutu, 34, is currently plying his trade with Ligue 1 side Ajaccio.
