Perth Glory matchwinner Joel Chianese says his side are treating every match like a final as they try to reach the top six with four games to play.
Glory moved to within three points of sixth-placed Adelaide United with Saturday's 3-1 win over Central Coast, but they have played one game more.
Chianese scored a double in the win which keeps alive Perth's top six hopes.
"It's probably that one position we're fighting for," Chianese told Fox Sports.
"We can't drop any points now. We drop any points and we're out of the finals race.
"Every game is like a final for us. We put everything on the line and hopefully get the results."
The goals were Chianese's first of the season, having missed several games early in the campaign due to injury.
"It was nice to get on the scoresheet finally," he said.
"I missed a lot of the start of the season and it took awhile to get back in the team and that match fitness.
"It's come back and I feel good. It's good to get the result and push towards finals."
