GOAL machine Scott Chipperfield blasted a brace for FC Basel as they demolished Neuchatel Xamax 3-0 in the Swiss Super League.
The Socceroo put his side in front after just 13 minutes of the match and struck again on 65 minutes to make it 2-0.
Chipperfield was replaced on 86 minutes and watched from the bench as Valentin Stocker made it 3-0 in the final minute.
It wasn't such a happy night for another Swiss-based Aussie with Mark Rudan part of the FC Vaduz team that crashed 3-1 at Lucerne. Perth Glory's Eugene Dadi also started for the visitors but couldn't get on the scoresheet.
The results leave Chippers' Basel in second spot, just a point behind the leaders while Vaduz are in a relegation scrap, just one place off the bottom.
