Queen of the South manager Gordon Chisholm hailed his team's historic achievement as the Dumfries club reached the Scottish Cup final for the first time.
The First Division side stunned Aberdeen 4-3 at Hampden in the first semi-final, with Steve Tosh, Paul Burns, Sean O'Connor and John Stewart getting the goals.
Chisholm told Sky Sports News: "It's absolutely fantastic.
"We did it the hard way. It was a bit of a rollercoaster to say the least."
Queens never trailed, but Aberdeen came back to level terms three times after falling behind, before John Stewart struck the winner.
"It was a fantastic game. It entertained everybody and we got what we wanted," Chisholm said.
"We felt beforehand that we were capable of winning it and the boys went out and showed they were well capable of it.
"I was just worried at the back. We kept giving away what I would say are bad goals.
"That kept the game alive."
