Former Socceroo Chris Herd has signed with Buriram United in the Thai League.
Herd reportedly left Western Sydney Wanderers earlier this year to be closer to his family in the UK.
The 29-year-old struggled to establish himself in the Red and Black line-up and made just eight starts, leaving just before the end of his first season after signing a two-year deal.
Herd's career has been been beset by injury and personal problems since his breakout season with Aston Villa in the Premier League in 2011/12.
He signed with Perth Glory in 2016 but a few months later terminated the contract for family reasons.
