AUSTRALIAN goalkeeper Alex Cisak has cut short his off-season holiday to “take care of business” following speculation linking him with a move to Championship club Peterborough.
The 23-year-old Oldham shot-stopper is believed to be top of Posh boss Darren Ferguson's list after losing goalkeepers Joe Lewis and Paul Jones to Cardiff and Crawley respectively already this off-season.
Cisak impressed last season, making 38 appeances for Oldham after joining the third tier club on a two-year deal following spells with Accrington Stanley and Leicester City.
The former Australia Under-20 international, who moved from Poland to Hobart when he was two-years-old, confirmed on Twitter he would “take care of some business” after ending his holiday early.
According to the Peterborough Telegraph, the Championship club have tabled a £350,000 bid for Cisak, while Watford are also reportedly interested.
Meanwhile, the Oldham Evening Chronicle claims Latics boss Paul Dickov hopes to seal a new deal for Australian midfielder James Wesolowski this week.
