Swedish striker Omar Eddahri is rumoured to be on the verge of signing for Melbourne City.
The supposed contract would see the 27-year-old sign for City until the end of the season. Eddahri is currently a free agent, having last played for AFC Eskilstuna in the Superettan - the Swedish second division.
Eddahri would arrive with little reputation, however, after a career of largely playing in Sweden's second and third divisions, Eddahri rose to prominence lasts season in his first Allsvenskan campaign.
The 185 centimetre striker scored eight goals and nabbed two assists in 25 appearances in the Swedish top flight, a decent return and one that could see him become a tidy, relatively low-cost acquisition for Warren Joyce's side.
