The Chelsea and England fullback used the social media website to complain after the FA released a report giving details over their investigation into the John Terry-Anton Ferdinand racism row.

Cole backed his team-mate Terry, who was found guilty of racially abusing Ferdinand and banned for four games.

The FA's report Cole fabricated his evidence to serve Terry's cause.

He subsequently tweeted: "Hahahahaa, well done #fa I lied did I, #BUNCHOFT***S."

The tweet was later removed and Cole apologised, but the FA promptly charged the England international, who could pick up his 100th international cap on Tuesday in the World Cup qualifier against Poland if he also starts the match at home to San Marino on Friday.

After admitting the charge Cole faces a fine of two-weeks' wages, but will not be banned.
