A point in Piraeus would keep Croatia in pole position in Group F ahead of the final round of qualifiers, but the Tottenham defender wants Slaven Bilic's men to get the job done at the first opportunity.

"Croatia has never played for a draw, we go for the victory," Corluka, who is struggling with a minor tendon problem, said on the Croatian Football Federation's official website, www.hns-cff.hr.

With both teams guaranteed a play-off spot at minimum, unbeaten Greece are the only side who can deny Croatia top spot, sitting one point behind their opponents.

But they surrendered the advantage to their rivals last month when they were held to a draw by Latvia as Croatia swept aside Israel.

"I believe in this team, I really believe," midfielder Luka Modric said.

"We have experience and I am not thinking about defeat, I don't have this scenario in my head.

"We must be focused on the pitch and prove that we are better than the Greeks."

Greece still have things in their own hands, though, and are aware a win tomorrow would leave them knowing victory in Georgia on Tuesday would see them qualify automatically.

Croatia have, on paper at least, the straightforward task of a home match with Latvia in their final qualifier.

"The game with Croatia is a final and we all believe we will win. I think we will qualify directly for the finals of the European Championships without playing a play-off," defender Sokratis Papastathopoulos said on www.epo.gr.

The two sides drew 0-0 in the reverse fixture in Zagreb 13 months ago.

Elsewhere, the bottom two sides in the group clash as Latvia host Malta in Riga.

Both teams are in their best run of form of the qualifying campaign, Latvia having taken four points from the last six and Malta having won their only point so far in last month's draw with Georgia.
