SOCCEROOS defender Chris Coyne will seek Pim Verbeek's advice before deciding on the next step in his club career.
To see Australia's training session...
To see Bahrain's training session...
Coyne remains contracted to English third tier club Colchester United but looks increasingly likely to exit the Essex side before the start of the new season.
He struggled for a regular slot under U's boss Paul Lambert, who wasn't altogether delirious with Coyne's lengthy trips for Roo duty during the season.
Colchester say they have not released Coyne from his deal but talks will take place between the parties.
As he prepared for tomorrow's World Cup qualifier against Bahrain, Coyne told The West Australian: "I'm not sure what's happening at club level but I think it might be time to move on. In the next three or four weeks I'll be looking at doing that and then I can go from there.
"As it stands, I've got to worry about the next two (Socceroos) games. Then there's 12 months until South Africa so it's important to play some good club football and put myself in the window."
Whether he stays in England, heads elsewhere in Europe or returns home to the A-League - with Perth Glory and Sydney FC both said to be admirers - Coyne will ask Verbeek for his thoughts.
"Pim has been around the game a long time and he has coached and managed in a lot of countries. "He's in charge of the national team so it's an opinion I would seek," said Coyne.
