Two-goal hero Craig Conway paid tribute to his Dundee United team-mates for handling the favourites' tag well as they beat Ross County 3-0 at Hampden to win the Active Nation Scottish Cup.
County failed to impose themselves on the game as they had against Celtic in the last four and David Goodwillie gave United a deserved lead just after the hour mark with a brilliantly-executed lob from 30 yards.
The lively Conway sealed United's second Scottish Cup triumph - and their first since 1994 - as United twice quickly turned defence into attack in the final 15 minutes to give Peter Houston a trophy just six months into his managerial career.
Conway told Sky Sports: "What a day for the fans, to score two and win it's unbelievable - I can't wait for tonight.
"All week we've been built up as favourites and told we'll become legends if we win it, that's a lot of pressure and I thought the lads dealt with that well.
"We dominated the match from start to finish."

United defender Andy Webster added on Sky Sports: "This is a great achievement for me and the club, we worked extremely hard to get here. You take it as it comes, the highs and lows, and this is definitely a high.
"We showed our class and we were deserved winners."
