Germany coach Joachim Low has released eight regular starters from his squad in the wake of their Euro 2008 qualifying victory over the Czech Republic, and is set to hand four players their international debuts.

And Denmark coach Morten Olsen feels his team is being shunned by Low and claims the German Football Association (DFB) have acted disrespectfully.

He said: "Germany was such a good host at the World Cup, but this is now very egotistical of the DFB.

"The agreement made several months ago was that Germany would field their strongest team.

"It didn't look like they picked up eight injuries in the win in Prague."

Players from Bayern Munich, Werder Bremen and Bayer Leverkusen have all been released by Low to concentrate on their clubs' respective European fixtures in the coming week.

In addition, Michael Ballack has returned to Chelsea as he, too, has a Champions League fixture to prepare for next week.

However, Olsen has players in his squad who are needed by their clubs and revealed that he has received calls asking him to follow Germany's example.

He added: "They [the clubs] ask me 'Why do you need my player? Germany are not playing with their first-choice team'.

"I know they [Germany] have a lot of players who have played a number of matches, but I have some too. How am I to explain this to them?"

However, Olsen is determined to field his strongest line-up against Germany, with important Euro 2008 qualifiers against Sweden and Latvia on the horizon.

Midfielder Christian Poulsen said: "The game in Duisburg serves us as preparation for the clash with Sweden [on June 2]."

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Robert Enke is set to make his Germany debut on Wednesday, while Simon Rolfes and Roberto Hilbert are also set to start for the first time.

Gonzalo Castro has also been promised a piece of the action as Low experiments with his side ahead of their next Euro 2008 qualifier against Group D minnows San Marino on June 2.
