DANNY Invincibile's club boss is not prepared to let him go and believes he can fulfil his Socceroo ambitions as a Kilmarnock player.
The former Australian Under 20 international has hinted that he has other interested parties although he still has one-year left on his current deal with the Scottish Premier League side.
Killie manager Jim Jeffries is in no mood to see Invincibile leave though and and he is keen to extend the 29-year-old's deal when he returns from Australia ready to begin pre-season training.
The Australian midfielder is in the final 12 months of his current deal, but Jefferies has said he wants to extend that and is looking to sort it out sooner rather than later.
The Kilmarnock boss told the Daily Express: "Danny has done well and we have no intention of letting him go.
"He is still under contract for this season and once we get going we will sit down with him and his representative to try to get a new deal sorted out.
“I think coming to Kilmarnock has been a good move for Danny and I’m certain if he was to stay and continue to play well for us then his international chance will come."
Invincibile's Italian father means he would have no problems getting a move to a European side but he has said he is keen to end his career with an Australian side.
