Former Holland and AC Milan midfielder Edgar Davids is interested in ending his career in Argentina, according to his agent.
Alberto Meo claims the much-travelled player, nicknamed the Pitbull, is keen on the idea of playing for an Argentinian giant and opened the way for him to negotiate with River Plate and Newell's Old Boys.
"There are no numbers or proposals. He is 35 and his desire is to play in Argentina. Even River people were surprised as they said that they do not have the money to pay him," Meo said.
"But we are looking for the way to solve that and bring to Argentina this top-quality player. He is eager to make his dream come true, which is to be the only Dutchman who plays in Argentina," said the former Newell's defender.
The 35-year-old is currently unattached after Ajax - with whom he began his professional career - did not renew his contract for the current season.
