Australian teenager Daniel De Silva has confirmed his departure from Dutch club Roda JC Kerkrade via Instagram.
FourFourTwo revealed earlier this month that the 19-year-old former Perth Glory midfielder was weighing up his options after opting to miss Roda JC's training camp in January.
De Silva has returned to Perth after making 20 appearances in 18 months with the Eredivisie club whom he joined on loan from Glory.
Injuries and Roda JC's style of play curtailed De Silva's progress in the Netherlands.
He had been expected to join Italian powerhouse AS Roma from Glory at the end of the 2014/15 season but the move fell through, leading to his switch to Roda.
