Jol's side have come away from games against Southampton and Reading with a point after conceding last-minute equalisers, while they had to come from behind late on in last weekend's draw against Everton.

Dutchman Jol believes that Fulham's defensive frailty is down to a lack of discipline off the ball, and is looking for improvement when they travel to Arsenal on Saturday.

"It's difficult because for us, with the players we've got, it's important that we dominate possession. That is not easy away from home," Jol told Fulham's official website.

"We want to be better off the ball and that is something we've been working on. Hopefully we can do better than we did against Everton because that was not what we wanted."

Arsenal are struggling slightly after losing two of their last three Premier League games, but Jol has dismissed any criticism of Arsene Wenger's men.

"Arsenal have always been a good footballing team and they will have been disappointed to lose their last league game against Manchester United," he said.

"But those are two top teams who want to win, and I think they are doing fine."
