According to the Sydney Morning Herald, the unbeaten Serie A leaders will play one game in Australia, in either Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne, on May 27.

Juventus beat Melbourne Victory 4-1 at Etihad Stadium four years ago.

"Juventus could be coming out to Australia straight after the Coppa Italia final on May 20, and they will be coming out with Alex Del Piero for a farewell tour," a source close to Juve told the Sydney Morning Herald.

Juventus will play Napoli in the May 20 cup final and are said to be close to finalising finals details of locations, dates and opponents for a tour.

It is believed the Old Lady will bring a strong squad to Australia for the match, although Italy internationals Gianluigi Buffon, Giorgio Chiellini, Andrea Pirlo and Claudio Marchisio would be unavailable as the 2012 European Championship start only a fortnight later.

"They will be coming to a legion of fans as Italian champions or cup winners, or possibly both. The star attraction is obviously Del Piero, the most respected person in Italian football," the source said.

Del Piero is expected to finish his decorated Juventus career at the end of this season after the club declined to renew his contract, although he reportedly has options abroad, including a move to the MLS.
