FORMER Perth Glory target Denilson has quit Vietnamese football after playing just 45 minutes for his club Hai Phong.
According to reports, the former Brazilian World Cup player was leaving the country due to injury.
Denilson had missed two earlier games, angering fans, before making his debut on Sunday playing in the first half only.
The Vietnamese Football Federation said he had quit the team on Tuesday and was planning to leave the country.
Denilson had been linked with a move to the A-League before his shock signing for Hai Phong.
