Chelsea manager Roberto Di Matteo has hailed Brazilian youngster Oscar a 'fantastic signing' for the Premier League club.
The departing Internacional starlet was confirmed as a Blues player on Wednesday, joining for a reported £25 million and signing a five-year deal.
Oscar has been touted as one of the most promising Brazilian youngsters, having already been capped six times by his country at the age of just 20.
Di Matteo told the club's official website: "He is a fantastic player, one of the youngest to push through to the Brazilian national team, and he will be a fantastic signing for us.
"Oscar is a very exciting young talent, a creative midfield player who scores goals. He will add a lot of options and solutions for us in midfield."
Those options include other new signings Eden and Thorgan Hazard, Marko Marin and Kevin De Bruyne.
With an abundance of offensive players at his disposal, many will be pondering how Di Matteo plans to keep his squad happy this season, but the Champions League and FA Cup-winning coach believes that he can find the right balance.
"It will be a challenge to make sure we have the right balance within the team so we will have to see how we fit the team together with all the players," he said.
"The club has always been competitive, looking to improve, get better and fight at the top end of the league so it will only give us a better chance in the Premier League."
