Brisbane Roar have appointed leading international consulting firm SRi Executive to help in their search for a new coach following the resignation of John Aloisi.
The announcement comes after the A-League strugglers assembled a diverse panel to advise on the recruitment of Aloisi's replacement.
A recent meeting in Jakarta between the club's owners, board members, CEO David Pourre and Football Director Pedj Radinovic put the recruitment process in train.
Pourre and Radinovic will be joined by former Socceroo and Roar Championship-winning defender Jade North, Club’s High Performance Manager Dr. Craig Duncan, Club Chairman Rahim Soekasah, Vice Chairman Chris Fong, Corporate Governance Specialist Rachel Sakurai and an SRi Executive on the advisory selection panel.
"We are confident that we will appoint the right person to lead our Hyundai A-League team into the future," Pourre said.
No time frame was announced for the appointment, although the club said it will "give the successful candidate time to prepare for the A-League 2019/20 campaign".
The club said Darren Davies will continue as interim head coach for the "foreseeable future".
Aoisi quit last month in response to the club's poor start to the campaign. Roar have notched just one win this season and currently sit in 9th spot, 15 points off a finals berth.
