Uzbekistan midfielder Server Djeparov has been crowned AFC Player of the Year for the second time in his career.
Djeparov picked up the award after playing an integral part in Uzbekistan's run to the semi-finals at January's Asian Cup and helping FC Seoul reach the quarter-finals of the AFC Champions League before switching to Saudi side Al Shabab in July.
"I'm very happy to have won this award for the second time after winning it three years ago in 2008," the 29-year-old told the Asian Football Confederation's website.
"I believe every player has this dream to win this award and I believe this is not the end for me as there will be more in the future. This second time round, I'm even happier than last time. I hope this award is good for my career now with Al Shabab."

"We are going to go all out and put the best show in the 2012 London Olympics for both the men's and women's teams."
