Nine-time Socceroos striker Bruce Djite has elected against an A-League return and has instead joined Indonesian Liga I club PSM Makassar.
The 30-year-old ex-Adelaide United and Gold Coast United striker left Korean second tier outfit Suwon FC last month after two years at the club.
He had been linked with a handful of A-League clubs, although nothing official materialised.
"I hope PSM is successful this season and I will do everything I can to help PSM be more successful than last season," Djite told the club website.
"We have to work day by day and do the best in every game that we play this season."

Djite, who has experience in Turkey, China and Korea, is one of seven new signings for PSM who finished the 2017 campaign in third spot.
The 2018 Liga I season commences on February 24, with Djite seen as a key signing, having replaced Uzbek striker Pavel Purishkin.
Djite joins Barito Putera defender Aaron Evans and Madura United midfielder Dane Milovanovic as Australians playing in the Indonesian Liga I.
Hari ini CEO PSM Munafri Arifuddin dan Pelatih Kepala Robert Rene Alberts memperkenalkan pemain-pemain baru yang akan memperkuat PSM musim depan.
