MARK Viduka's agent says the striker is heading back to live in Australia but it is far from clear whether the V-Bomber's future plans include a fresh footballing challenge in the A-League.
In an interview with SBS website The World Game, Steve Kutner says Viduka will not be pursuing a contract in Europe and will instead head home to Australia.
Whether Viduka's new life back in Oz includes another footballing chapter is unclear although his return would certainly cause plenty of A-League interest.
He has previously been linked with both Melbourne Victory and the new Melbourne Heart franchise.
Victory are unlikely to find any room for Viduka at this present time due to a marquee player already under contract but they would certainly be interested in trying to find a solution.
Melbourne Heart would probably see Viduka's capture as a massive coup for the new franchise but they are not yet in a position to talk contracts with players until they have a coach in place.
