Viduka had been hotly tipped to join Portsmouth but it appears uncertainty surrounding a takeover of the south coast club proved an obstacle.

The Daily Mail is now claiming that Viduka has flown into London for talks with the Cottagers and should a deal be agreed then he will join fellow Aussies Mark Schwarzer and Adrian Leijer at the London outfit.
