Wellington Phoenix skipper Andrew Durante is set for a shock return from injury - a whole two months earlier than expected.
Durante went down injured during Wellington's Round 2 clash away to Sydney FC.
He was intially set to be sidelined for up to two to three months with a torn adductor muscle.
However, Phoenix medical staff now believe the injury is not as bad as first feared.
That means Durante could even line up for the Phoenix this weekend in their Round 4 clash against Brisbane Roar at Westpac Stadium.
