Nazareno, who played for third division side Chimborazo, suffered severe pains in his chest after Saturday's game against Liga Politecnica, coach Ramiro Sucuy told El Expreso newspaper.

Doctors gave Nazareno medical assistance in the dressing room but he passed away after suffering convulsions.
