The 34-year-old four-time Socceroo has had an unbelievable start to life at Eredivisie leaders Feyenoord since his off-season switch.

Ukrainian club Zorya barely carried a threat for Jones all evening, as Nicolai Jorgensen's goal proved decisive.

Jones has played all of Feyenoord's league and European matches this season.

The ex-Middlesbrough and Liverpool shot-stopper has helped Feyenoord to top spot in Group A above Manchester United after three games.

He's also played a significant part in Feyenoord's perfect start to the Eredivisie campaign, with nine wins from nine games and only three goals conceded.

Jones, who was linked with a move to hometown club Perth Glory in the off-season, hasn't played for Australia since January 2011.
