Injured Brentford fullback Callum Elder is hopeful of a return to the Championship by December.
The Australian, on loan at the London club from Leicester City, injured his knee in early September.
Elder has been sidelined since then after a positive start at Brentford. The 21-year old made six appearances for the Bees before picking up the injury.
Gutted to have come off today, hopefully nothing too serious. Great result this afternoon big thanks to the travelling fans 👏🏻 #brentfordfc

The left back does not need surgery after undergoing scans. He told FourFourTwo he plans to be back in training before the end of October, with a return to the field after that.
"It's progressing well, hoping to be back in training in a few weeks," Elder said.
"[November/December] that's what I'm aiming for."
Brentford have made a positive start to the season and currently sit in seventh place after five wins, three draws and three losses from 11 games.
