Fringe Socceroo Mustafa Amini struck in AGF's 5-2 relegation-playoff win over Silkeborg as the Danish Superliga reaches its business end.
He's experiencing some of the best form of his career, sparking claims Amini may have a World Cup future yet.
The goal may have been Amini's first of the season, but the Socceroos midfielder has another three assists in his last four matches and has been leading AGF towards Superliga survival.
The central-midfielder has even played as a secondary striker for the club as AGF seek to lean on their young Aussie talisman, who's sudden surge in form couldn't have been better-timed for the club, or his national future.
Although Amini missed out on Bert van Marwijk's first Socceroos squad, and faces the stiffest competition throughout the squad for his natural position, his recent attacking exploits wouldn't have gone unnoticed.
