Celtic will host Rangers twice inside 11 days in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League run-in, it was confirmed.
The announcement of the post-split fixtures threw up a double-header that could ultimately decide the destiny of the SPL title.
The Old Firm rivals meet a week on Wednesday - April 16 - in the final fixture before the split, a match that has twice been rearranged after the original January 2 meeting was postponed.
They face off again on Sunday, April 27 in the standout match of the post-split fixtures.
Sandwiched between the mouth-watering clashes is a clash between Celtic and Aberdeen, also at Parkhead, on April 19.
Rangers do not have a league fixture that weekend because of their possible involvement in the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup.
The announcement of the post-split fixtures, which separates the top six and bottom six in the SPL, came after tonight's match between Aberdeen and Falkirk.
The Dons needed to win to ensure they would be playing top-six football for the remaining five matches of the season and they edged to a 2-1 victory to consign their opponents to the bottom half of the table.
Leaders Rangers' final four league games see them travel to Hibernian on May 4, host Motherwell on May 7 and Dundee United on May 10 before finishing the season at Aberdeen on May 18.
Champions Celtic, who trail their bitter rivals by eight points having played a game extra, have one more pre-split fixture to play at Motherwell this Sunday.
Their final three games are at Motherwell again, on May 3, at home to Hibs on May 11 before a final-day trip to Dundee United.
Setanta Sports will televise up to 11 SPL matches during the run-in.
These are: Dundee United v Hibs (April 20); Celtic v Rangers (April 27); Falkirk v Hearts (May 5); Rangers v Motherwell (May 7); Rangers v Dundee United (May 10); Celtic v Hibs (May 11); and any two of the three top-six fixtures on the final day of the season.
