Blackburn defender Brett Emerton believes his side's current sky-high confidence can help sweep them closer to a place in this season's FA Cup final at the new Wembley.
Rovers are on a roll after winning their last three matches and Emerton is relishing Sunday's quarter-final showdown against struggling Manchester City at Ewood Park.
He said: "We have now won three games on the trot and we believe we can beat any opposition that is put in front of us. That is how confident we feel at the moment.
"But we don't under-estimate anybody because any Premiership team can beat any other and that is what we have always understood at this club.
"We have got to perform at 100% every time to win matches."
The FA Cup has provided plenty of special memories for Australian Emerton, who grew up watching live coverage of the competition in the early hours with his friends Down Under.
He added: "After all those nights staying up at all hours of the morning it is a dream to now be playing in such a great competition and to be standing so close to the final.
"It would be really special if we could be a part of that first game at Wembley.
"It will be a really great occasion but we have got a lot of work to do before we can start thinking about getting there."
Rovers have already scored seven goals in their two previous meetings with City this season, following an early 4-2 win at Ewood Park by thumping Stuart Pearce's men 3-0 at the City of Manchester Stadium in January.
But Emerton warned: "We might be favourites but upsets are what makes this competition so special. We are a long way from winning anything.
"Wembley is in the back of our minds but we have to concentrate on Sunday first."
