The 27-year-old Australian, who recently became a father with the birth of his five-week old daughter Emma, sees his contract with AZ expire at the end of next season.

It is understood Holman had been targetted by a Premier League club following his fine 2010 World Cup, but a move didn't eventuate.

And the Socceroo, who has a Dutch wife, told the Daily Telegraph he's not fussed about a move to England any more.

"Everything's changed with little Emma," Holman said. "But from a football point of view, when I got over to Europe there was that dream effect with the Premier League.

"Growing up you got Fox Sports and the main focus was the EPL so my only dream was to one day progress there, but when you get older you look at things differently.

"When you look at the teams, some of football isn't that good and some of the lower teams are booting the ball long and there's not much football involved."

Holman added he's yet to speak with AZ officials about extending his contract beyond 2012.

"The club knows my position but they haven't spoken to me yet," Holman said.

"It plays a bit on my mind, whether I'm staying or going. But I'd like to point out that I'm still happy at AZ, it's a great club, I'm settled, my missus is from Holland and if we stay here it's not a problem.

"It's one of those things if something does pop up then I'll weigh up whether it's good for me, my family and whether the football is good."
