Tomi Juric’s Swiss club FC Luzern have confirmed they have received an offer from English Championship club Reading for the Socceroo’s services.
Luzern sporting director Remo Gaugler told the Luzerner Zeitung that “an offer has arrived” from the Royals believed to be worth €2 million.
Reading are currently firmly in the hunt for promotion to the Premier League, sitting third in the Championship.
The Royals may look to Juric for a deadline day swoop to bolster their promotion hopes, having netted 41 times in 28 games this season, with Garath McCleary and Yann Kermongant their top scorers.
Juric joined Luzern on a two-year deal in July, having spent last season with Dutch club Roda JC.
The striker has scored four goals in 16 appearances for Luzern, before a knee injury put him on the sidelines in November.
The Swiss Super League resumes this weekend, with Juric returning from injury during the club’s winter training camp.
