Everton have revealed they are still in the dark as to the full extent of goalkeeper Tim Howard's injury suffered while on international duty.
News filtered back from across the Atlantic that the United States goalkeeper dislocated his finger in yesterday's 4-2 defeat to Brazil.
But head physio Mick Rathbone admits they are still awaiting a full assessment of the problem.
"Tim has injured his finger and we don't know much about it," Rathbone told evertonTV.
"Obviously with the time differences and everything we are collating all the information.
"We don't know how bad it is but we are expecting further information."
