As the only Australian media invited on the trip, FourFourTwo was invited to the Nike campus in Portland for a "Football Summit" to find out how their kits, boots and balls are conceptualised, designed and tested.

As well as getting a look at the new Mercurial Vapor IV boots and a ton of new away kits from Inter Milan, Holland, Korea, Arsenal and Croatia, we were also given a first look at the new Socceroo kits that the guys will be wearing all the way through World Cup qualifying and beyond...

We also were given access to the designers of the strip as well as given an exclusive look at their Sports Research Lab where the likes of Wayne Rooney, Ronaldinho and Milan wonder-kid Pato are put through their paces to test the last Nike gear.
